Louis Vuitton is reportedly in talks with Pharrell Williams to take over the late Virgil Abloh’s role as head designer of menswear at the company.
According to “people familiar with the matter”, Williams is in pole position to assume the he position which has been left unfilled since the untimely death of Virgil Abloh in November 2021.
Representatives from LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the parent company of Louis Vuitton and Pharrell have so far declined to comment on the reports.
An official announcement is expected soon.
