Having already worked with Nafe Smallz, Chip, Sigala, Imanbek and many more, 20-year-old rising star Tom Did It has come through to his latest single ‘Stupid Love’ this time linking up with Zakhar for a cold installment.
Following the success of his debut single “Stupid Love,” which received key support from DJ Target on BBC 1Xtra, Tom Did It continues to captivate audiences with his genre-defying style and emotionally charged lyricism. “Real Life” embodies Tom Did It’s signature fusion of rap with laid-back indie pop, delivering a compelling narrative that resonates with listeners; whilst showcasing his artistic versatility, he drafts in fellow rising artist Zahkhar for a cold track that will be headed straight to the playlists for summer.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind “Real Life,” Tom Did It shares: ‘“This was the first time I worked with 169 and Zakhar as a collective but have had worked with 169 before and knew him, Zak and I could make something special, and Real Life came to us really quick. In that session we ended up completing 3 songs in total. We just are basically on the same vibe, we relate to each other a lot. We are the same age, and are at the same stage in our careers.. we’re the next generation coming through navigating the industry and real life”
