Recently signed to 0207 Def Jam, 21 year old South East Londoner Amie Blu has today set pace, coming through to share her brand new single ‘who’s he gonna take home’.
Introspective lyricism that romanticises everything about someone, Amie Blu vocalises over an atmospheric and evocative soundscape with sophisticated and delicate sound.
“It’s the first song I ever wrote with Jay Flew,” Amie recalls. “I wanted to write something that was descriptive but still simplistic and as soon as I had the first line ‘he’s the type to know his words’, everything else just fell into place.”
