This week, internationally famous festival Primavera Sound has unveiled their lineup for 2024’s Barcelona instalment. Taking place from the 29th May – 2nd June, the lineup includes some of the music industries biggest name including Lana Del Rey, SZA, FKA Twigs, Disclosure, Peggy You as well as Freddie Gibbs & Madlib.

“The 22nd edition of the festival brings back the format of a weekend based in Barcelona, and even so the music on offer is once again overflowing. Each artist, each band is important, but also the sum of them all”. Taking a modernised stance on the importance of equality within music festival lineups, which has often been criticised in the past across the world, “The lineup for the next edition of Primavera Sound once again puts us before a commitment to equality (42.36% women, 42.36% men and 15.28% mixed projects)“.
