Video and image sharing site OnlyFans announced a reversal of the shocker announcement that it would ban sexually explicit content.
The company said it “secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community,” suggesting a new agreement with banks to pay OnlyFans’ content creators including sex workers.
OnlyFans’ founder Tim Stokely previously blamed “unfair” treatment by banks for forcing him to ban pornography on the platform in the first place. para que sirve la ivermectina de 6mg
“The change in policy, we had no choice — the short answer is banks,” Stokely said speaking to the Financial Times.
The company said that it would be sending official communications to creators “shortly” stating “stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.”
Before this U-turn the ban on sexually-explicit content was met with widespread outcry from sex workers, and questions about how the site would be able to survive, given much of its early success came from the sale of adult content.
