Reputable for his distinct vocals and seamless production, “Starts With A Text” is a mellow drop that boasts Bawo’s laid-back demeanor, refined pen game and all-round artistry. Blurring the lines between British Hip Hop and Rap, Bawo has navigated a lane of his own that sets him apart from others in the scene.

Speaking on the release, Bawo commented; “Starts With A Text is about me getting to know a lady who I’ve just met and working out the vibe between us, while thinking that she’s potentially more interested in me than she actually is.”
