Consistency seems to be the theme here as we’ve been treated once again, following YJ’s recent piece of work – GRM Daily’s Rated Freestyle.
The video for Saxophones Cry Freestyle sees our South London lyricist walking through the eclectic streets of Shoreditch – as he is accompanied by members from the very dynamic collective ORPHGANG. Directed by Anthony Williams, this lyrically animated video really allows us to visually focus on YJ’s witty puns.
It’s been a very eventful year thus far for YJ, recently supporting the legendary Method Man and Redman, becoming one of MOBO’s Unsung finalists and exploring the many realms of popular freestyles (Link Up TV’s – Street Heat etc). With only 3 months remaining there’s no telling what else is in store for this budding wordsmith…
