Legendary artist Wretch 32 sat down with Robert Bruce of Capital Xtra’s “Homegrown” series to discuss all things Wretch. Having just dropped his latest single “Spin Around,” he takes us back to the early days of his career when the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Wiley and So Solid leading the pack.
Wretch 32 drops untold gems such as receiving his first 1000 CD/s when his son was born, and selling them out of his home. He cites “Can’t Say Sorry” as his first record that blew up in his area followed by “Punctuation” and many more. Many will recall when Traktor hit the charts – Wretch 32 cites this as his breakout track to mainstream audiences.
