Gearing up for the release of his forthcoming EP, House of EL has unveiled his first drop of 2020 titled, ‘Lazarus’.
Known for being a polished arranger, song-writer and producer, House of EL’s musical ability hasn’t gone unknown. Working alongside boast-worthy names including Paloma Faith, Chase and Status and Plan B, House of EL is now preparing for the release of his highly awaited EP.
Today, the rising force has unveiled the visuals to his latest offering named, ‘Lazarus’. Enriched with his profound vocals, the rising star explores religious connotation whilst striving for hope in humanity in this thought-provoking single. The black and white washed Thomas Davis-directed visuals see the star in and around a Church, adding to that over-riding anthemic and paramount essence seen carried throughout.
Speaking on the release of ‘Lazarus’, House of EL commmented;“It all started from a weird orchestral sample I created at uni ages ago in a music pack I made for myself and then karma kid (who I worked with on this EP) helped me flip it. ‘Lazarus’is a narrative lyrical abstraction, overcoming adversity and touches on ideas of humanity and hope, and is the title track of the EP”.
