A stripped-back guitar instrumental keeps Pip’s vocal front and centre, her natural flair for deep confession and emotive storytelling keeping this visceral new release in line with her growing reputation as one of the best young artists in soul and R&B right now. With long-time collaborator, director KC Locke again at the helm of the video, Pip states on the track: “It’s about longing for the old and then realising it was shit anyway, and feeling kinda stupid for ever wanting it at all.”
