After seeing Hope Dealers spit holy bars in church as part of 1Xtra’s documentary Gangs, Drill & Prayer, Charlie Sloth thought they deserved a shot on one of hip hop’s holiest institutions… Fire in The Booth!
There’s been discussions as to whether the approach from the group is justified – with some members of the group wearing balaklavas at their church performance.
Their music has been termed ‘Gospel Drill’ but the group are insisting they should be considered as just ‘Drill’ artists.
