Following the controversial comment he made earlier this year regarding ‘Stop and search’, which was of course questioned by certain people – Dave has returned with a brand new ‘Hangman’ music video, addressing the comments.
“I don’t know what i was thinking with the tweets about the searches but when Harry got murdered, man was so emotional. Tryna find solutions…I had some good intentions but i guess i couldn’t word them” – he said.
“Life is so funny. I got a message saying the streets don’t love me, the streets don’t love you. If you died today, they wouldn’t donate to your f*cking gofundme.” – he continued.
Shot and directed by Dir.Lx & Jeaniq, the track Produced by Nana Rogues is Dave’s first single this year and definitely not a bad way to start the year.
Last week, the South London rapper was live at the Brit Awards where he was amongst the ‘Best Breakthrough act’ nominees. Shame he didn’t win it but his presence there would be considered as a win for the much loved rapper.
