Coi Leary teams up with fellow New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap on her latest offering “Better Days”.
With production from Nash B and Wymtime, the pair deliver a slow guitar-led backdrop characterised by a booming bass-line. Which the rappers glide over perfectly, intertwining their auto-tune infused melodies.
“I can never love a boy who can’t even love himself, it’s time to go our separate ways, oh
take care of the gang and the family, I swear I don’t need no one else, now we seeing better days, oh” she sings.
The song is said to express the troubles she faced in her previous relationship (with rapper Trippie Red). In addition to the trials of trying to take care of her family.
“Better Days” will feature on her upcoming EP, scheduled for release this summer.
