The alternative R&B song is based on an honest story about a simultaneously pleasurable and painful relationship with a love interest who clearly does not treat her right. Hesitant to leave and knowing the relationship has no future, Liét has found herself developing deep feelings for her sweet talking lover;“There is no logic to it, but I know a lot of women find themselves in situations like these and I wanted to write a song they can relate to,” she explains.
