Today, Amaarae follows her release earlier this month entitled “LEAVE ME ALONE”, with it’s visual treatment.

Presenting us with an incredibly imaginative and illustrated adventure – drawn and designed by the NY based director, editor and 2D compositor Gianluigi Carella. The visual concept is a sinister and sci-fi driven adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Sonically, “LEAVE ME ALONE” allows golden flecks of her West African heritage to shine through amongst heavy reggae influences. Enriched by a colourful instrumental overarched by prominent guitar strums; Amaarae sashays daintily atop with her delicate vocal prowess as she details the process of learning how to protect one’s peace, irrespective of underlying circumstances.
