Rapper 21 Savage teams up with Summer Walker to deliver a lyric video for newest single entitled, “Secret”.
“Secret” shares the story of two star-crossed lovers, who divulge the feelings they share. While lamenting over the uncertainty of the consequences they may face once exposing their “secret”. The track samples Xscape’s 1998 record “My little secret” and is produced by the legendary Jermaine Dupri.
Savage kicks off the song by painting an intricate portrait of his love interest. Following, Summer serves silky vocals that urge the rapper to keep their affair under wraps, “You’re my little secret, that’s how we should keep it,” she lovingly sings.
Savage jumps in with his second stanza and signature monotone style, as he assures his partner that even though he “likes a couple pictures on Instagram that doesn’t mean he’s cheating”.
