Tesco Recalls Christmas Stuffing Due To Concerns It May Contain Moths

Tesco has recalled a batch of their Christmas stuffing due to concerns there could be moths in the product.

The UK supermarket giant’s Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix was flagged as unsafe to eat by the Food Standards Agency has said who said anyone who purchased a box should “not consume this product”.

“We are recalling a single batch of Tesco Finest Apple & Cranberry Stuffing Mix due to the possible presence of moths which makes the product unfit for human consumption,” Tesco said.

“If you have bought the above product do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further details, please contact Tesco Customer Services on 0800 505 555.”

Despite the recall notice, Tesco included no explanation as to how moths managed to get into the stuffing.
