News coming from Spears has it that Stormzy is now a millionaire, with his net worth currently standing at a whopping £1.5 Million.
If you paid attention, the South London rapper acknowledge it, just over a month ago in his 4PM in London freestyle. Around 2:03 minute of the freestyle, he revealed having a conversation with lethal Bizzle who welcomed him to millionaire family.
“If i need to talk about pees (money) I phone Lethal//yeah Bizzle that’s my family//got a little family//he said you got some millies now welcome to the family.” – Stormzy raps.
Majority of the income came from his recent Gang Signs & Prayer album sales and the sold out tour around the globe. The album charted at Number 1 in the Official UK album charts in it’s first week and has since been certified as a GOLD selling project.
Stormzy’s progression has also resulted in a increase in his booking fee, with his stock steadily increasing. This year saw work with some elite artists in the music industry like Ed Sheeran, Linkin Park, Pusha T, Little Mix e.t.c as well as been co-signed by Adele, Cold Play and U2.
Earlier this year, Stormzy made it onto the Forbes 2017 Cash Princes list – a list based partly on wealth but also on musical influence and reach for hip-hop and rap stars under 30-years-old.
This year so far, he’s won 3 MOBO Awards, a rated awards, an EMA Award, BET Award … the list goes on.
Big up to the big black Ghana man – congratulations on a successful 2017 and hopefully next year would bring more good news.
