MC Tacklyn’s start in life was not one that was easy- born and raised on the small island of Bermuda, at the age of 16, a then young Tacklyn was sent to livein with his mum in South London’s Thorton Heath.
Finding it hard to adjust to life in the UK, after getting kicked out of high school, Tacklyn focused on his love for music instead, studying as a sound engineer and moving into rap, soon became known on the pirate radio scene as MC Danger.
Now, after a hiatus of nearly a decade, Tacklyn returns with his highly anticipated EP Big & Serious- designed for his fans old and new- that draws inspiration from his Island and London experiences. With Afro-Caribbean and grime influences Tacklyn proves that time hasnt been a hindrance to his artistry as he calls on the likes of Cashtatic, Zion, wildboyace and more to help make this statement.
Big & Serious is now available on all streaming platforms. Be sure to check out the project.
