London singer/songwriter Kwaku Asante has come through with a new nine track project, ‘Blue Solstice: Volume 2’. The tape comes with three previously unheard songs, including the lead single ‘Fun’, which sees the artist explore themes of dating and relationships in modern society.
Blessed with a range of influences thanks to his Ghanaian heritage as well as his upbringing in London, Asante blends sounds of Funk, R&B, and Pop across the record, showcasing the versatility of the artist. This follows 2021’s ‘Blue Solstice: Volume 1’, demonstrating the growth of Asante following a stellar 2023 which saw him make an appearance on the prestigious ‘COLORS’ show.
Fresh off the back of performing at Cloud X festival, Kwaku Asante is proving himself to be an artist worth looking out for as he continues to diversify his sound. The artist will be hoping that this project is yet another step in the right direction within an exciting career.
