The Princess of Wales has revealed that she is in the early stages of cancer treatment.
In a video statement, Kate Middleton said while her while her abdominal surgery in January was a “success” subsequent tests found her condition was cancerous also stating that it had been an “incredibly tough couple of months”.
The type of cancer has not been revealed, but it’s understood Kate has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy since late February.
Speaking about the support from her family: “Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.”
Kensington Palace said the video of the princess was filmed on Wednesday by BBC Studios, the production arm of the BBC.
