Saturday 3rd October for the 30th commemoration of the shooting of Cherry Groce by the Metropolitan Police which lead to the 1985 Brixton uprisings. Considering events that taken place on both sides of the pond, its important to address these issues and ensure justice prevails to build communal relations between the police and the community they are serving.
Come and participate in this commemorative event that will discuss the past, present and future of communities fighting for justice and peace in Brixton & Tottenham. This will also be the launch of the new justice campaign for the family of Cherry Groce.
