The YouTube Black Voices fund is back and accepting applicants for the 2022 class of grantees. The multi-year initiative works towards highlighting and platforming Black creators and music by providing them with access to resources to help them thrive on YouTube.
The inaugural class of #YouTubeBlack Voices creator grantees saw creators from the United Kingdom, United States, Kenya, Brazil Australia, Nigeria, and Brazil participating in the Class of 2021.
YouTube will work closely with the Class to offer dedicated partner support, seed funding invested into the development of their channels, and participation in an intensive development programme that will focus on training in production, community engagement and wellbeing, followed by ongoing workshops and networking programs.
