All five passengers on the missing Titan submarine have been confirmed dead by operator OceanGate.

The sub which has been missing since Sunday experienced a “catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber,” according to the US Coast Guard.

The news comes after debris from the missing submersible was discovered by a remote operated vehicle (ROV) near the Titanic wreckage site.
