Alizé were delighted to be the drinks partner at the Music of Black Origin (MOBO)Awards on Wednesday night, (4 November 2015) held in the heart of Leeds. The MOBOs selected the Alizé brand because of its rich history with music. As early as the 1990s the likes of Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls and Jay Z, were dropping Alizé references into their tracks, blending the very best talent, with the very best in mixed drinks.
“We place a lot of value on authenticity so this is a perfect partnership” – Jay Orlean, Alizé brand manager.
One of the biggest nights in the music calendar saw the stars come out in force for the 20th anniversary of the awards and to celebrate the greatest renaissance of UK grime since the awards began in 1996, with Stormzy andKrept and Konan scooping prizes for best male act and best hip-hop actrespectively.
The partnership saw Alizé sponsor the VIP, artist reception and after party areas, which ensured Alizé and Champagne flowed freely throughout the night.
