It’s Friday, and as usual, we’re back with another thrilling breakdown of the UK Charts, to determine which artists and their notable works are making an impression on the scene.
On home ground, we’ve got Potter Payper’s Thanks For Waiting touching 8th position and making it into this week’s Top 10, which comes as no surprise given the positive reception the real rapper has received following the release of this tape. With Adele set to deliver another album, the roll-out for her forthcoming drop has resulted in previous projects entering the charts – it’s no doubt that listeners are excited for what the Tottenham songstress is set to bring to the table! Fellow North Londoner, Tion Wayne’s Green with Envy takes a drop from Number 19 to Number and 50, and Millionz’s Provisional Licence falls to 87th position.
Over to the US, Lil Nas X’s run with Montero see’s the album going from position No. 2 to No. 5 and Meek Mill’s Expressive Pain makes an appearance in the top 30, sitting comfortable in 23rd place; Youngboy NBA’s Sincerely Kentrell also makes an entrance to the charts.
Singles wise, we’ve got Headie One’s Cry entering at 66th place, along with Potter’s collaborative track Take That – featuring Westender Digga D – at position number 79; Digga’s song, Wasted (featuring Arrdee) also moves up a spot from No. 20 to No.19! Joining Digga in bringing pride to the West End are AJ Tracey, as Mahalia’s track Roadside, featuring him, enters at 93, and Central Cee’s TikTok hit, Obsessed With You moves into 4th position, having been number 5 last week.
