Ghanaian Afropop and Reggae superstar has dropped his highly anticipated album ‘5th Dimension’ – his first project since signing to Def Jam recordings. The artist takes inspiration from a plethora of genres and sounds, creating a body of work that is unique to Stonebwoy’s style.
Following the success of lead singles ‘Therapy’ and ‘GIDI GBA’, Stonebwoy has produced a project that rides a wave between Afrobeats, Dancehall and Reggae. With a host of features from some of the biggest artists in the world, including Stormzy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, and Shaggy amongst others, the artist takes us on a journey through his inspirations from every corner of the globe.
The project also features a varied list of production credits, ranging from Fanatix to Supa Dups. Stonebwoy has clearly been honing his craft and this shines through with the soundscapes he has managed to create and curate on this project. The artist was the first to reach 100 million streams on Audiomack, Africa’s premier streaming service, and ‘5th Dimension’ looks set to grow his following even further thanks to his strong songwriting and excellent feature list.
