Reading rapper and all round rising star SONGER reached the top 100 of the Official UK Charts thanks to his highly anticipated ‘Toxic Freestyle’ release. This capped off an amazing year for the artist who also achieved over 15 million streams on his album, ‘Skala’.
‘Toxic Freestyle’ has been a growing phenomenon since SONGER performed it on the BL@CKBOX freestyle platform 2 years ago. The track went viral and only just got its official release around Christmas.
Having sold out tours across the world in Australia and New Zealand, as well as collaborating with legends of the scene such as D Double E, it looks as if this is an artist who is here to stay. ‘Toxic Freestyle’ is proving to be more than a viral moment given its appearance in the charts.
