Having been played out through the festival circuit and through events throughout the summer, Skepta has finally unveiled his brand new Mas Tiempo track ‘Can’t Play Myself (A Tribute To Amy).
Cleared by Amy Winehouse’s family themselves, the new atmospheric and evocative house track samples the late singer’s 2006 single ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ – and having gone viral on social media after being played at the Mas Tiempo launch and notably the Arcadia stage at Glastonbury this year to a rapturous crowd – the appetite for the official release of the bootleg has been huge.
Más Tiempo — the Spanish translation of “more time” — is the house music label from acclaimed British rappers and BBK mainstays Skepta and Jammer, recently proving itself to be one of the most forward-thinking labels to surface into the world of electronic music in the last few years.
