Red Bull will be providing an all star line-up, in collaboration with local Mas band Mangrove as well as free pre-carnival workshops. The star studded line up includes Spice, YXNG Bane and Tony Matterhorn plus many more.
Red Bull Music Festival London, will begin with a Sound
System party on Sunday 25th August. The following day they will join local masquerade heroes Mangrove bringing the biggest truck on the carnival parade on Monday 26th. Prior to this all, Red Bull will also be hosting a series of free, pre-carnival workshops at
Mangrove HQ on Wednesday 21st August, to help people get in the mood for the festivities. These workshops will cover Music, Fashion & Make-up Workshops, in collaboration with Mangrove.
‘Spice’-ing it up!
The Sound System party will be headlined by returning performer, Jamaican dancehall superstar Grace Hamilton, aka Spice as well as special guest Yxng Bane. Other artists performing on the day include Alicai Harley, Tony Matterhorn, and Sneakbo. As well as performances from artists there will also be DJ’s throughout the day bringing the energy.

The second day of carnival will see RedBull in collaboration with
legendary carnival mas band, Mangrove, bringing you the biggest (and loudest) truck to the carnival parade. Redesigned especially for this year’s parade, Red Bull is proud to be once again
collaborating with legendary carnival mas band, Mangrove, to bring the biggest (and loudest) truck to the carnival parade. The truck will provide a stage for numerous soca stars and road march queens to perform. Full line up listed below.

Never fear, you’ll get help to prepare!
Ahead of the two-day carnival celebrations, Mangrove will host a series of free workshops on Wednesday 21 August from their West London HQ in the heart of Notting Hill, offering attendees a taster of the full carnival experience. The workshops will offer attendees a range of experiences including a chance to jump on the pans and get a lesson from some of the 60-man Mangrove steel pan band.
Attendees will also get a chance to gain an insight into the skills needed to produce a Mangrove-made carnival costume and how to complete their carnival looks. The workshops will be free and operate on a first-come-first-served basis. Sign-up HERE.
These workshops will run alongside a series of Carnival special events as part of Red Bull Music Festival including In Conversation with Spice hosted by Radio 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson and the award-winning workshop series NormalNotNovelty with Alicai Harley alongside Br3nya, Tiffany Calver, Lil C.
