Rasharn Powell has returned for the first time since March of last year with his latest single, ‘Raving In our Bedroom’. The nostalgic, 70’s inspired track has been accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by Tayler Prince-Fraser.

Inspired by a multitude of artists including D’Angelo, Outkast, and Stevie Wonder, Powell’s soulful vocal tones coupled with glossy production are a match made in heaven. The artist has recently taken time away from music and his hometown of London to rebuild, and has found God in the process.

Speaking on his latest track, Powell states:

“There’s a truth we must face when in our bedrooms. That inner truth is specific to each and every one of us, and others may be able to empathise with it but not always comprehend it. By God’s grace, the story I’m about to take the world on is one of ascension, but I can only do so through narrating my personal conviction and sins.”
