London based artist, rapper, and producer Piers James has delivered his new project, ‘Voyage To Reverie’. Alongside the nine track tape, the artist has also unveiled a music video for the final song, ‘DISNEY S**T & WAR’, directed by the artist himself.

Having arrived on the scene back in 2016, James has evolved as an artist and set pace throughout, tapping into a multitude of soundscapes along the way. His latest project continues to see him push boundaries and experiment both lyrically and sonically, as we find the artist at the very top of his game.

Speaking about his latest video, James said:

“The film shot on 16mm goes through different mediums that showcase the struggles of an artist within the industry as a Black warrior and the fight they must have for independence, as well as the influences this industry and culture can have on children depicted by what’s glorified. This includes animations around Black communities and how they were promoted with the stereotypical characteristics within Black men and women.”
