The Ipswich-born and London-based rapper and producer – Piers James has delivered the refreshingly nuanced, coming-of-age EP, ‘A Dying Breed Part 1.’ 

During the project we follow the artist as he explores a variety of relevant and relatable topics including; romance, the trials and tribulations of newfound fatherhood. In addition to the widely shared tales of the British Black experience which is often laced with ignorant micro-aggressions and overt racism.

Throughout, Piers proves it’s impossible to pigeonhole his artistry through incorporating a mixture of hip-hop; jazz; R&B; trap; and reggae influences all tied seamlessly together with his distinctive U.K flair.
