Last night Nicki Minaj hailed the o2 Academy as part of her 2019 tour titled “The Nicki Wrld Tour” alongside Juice WRLD and she had a surprise for us.
Most exiting however is that Nicki invited UK rappers Ms Banks and Yxng Bane and it was a big night for the two artists as well.
The hype surrounding Ms Banks and Nicki Minaj is not all that surprising however given the previous hype. In November 2017, Nicki tweeted Ms Banks lyrics off of the “Ya Zimmie” remix alongside Lisa Mercedes and Stylo G who were also brought out on the tour.
Since then hints of them working together in some respect have circled and last night was the first, of hopefully many, collaborations! Its refreshing to see females supporting each other and you can find out more about pioneering female rappers in the music industry here.
