How would you describe your Next Up?
I would describe my Next Up? as jumpy, something to bop your head to.
You recently supported Stepz at his first headline show, alongside other emerging artists like Young Ts, how important is that network and your personal network to your journey?
When I came out to support Stepz, it was only right. We’ve come up off similar stories, both of our music is blowing up on TikTok and he’s been showing love. And from my end, it’s all love too, so it made sense to shell it together type of thing.
Other emerging artists like Young TS etc, are also blowing up on socials and we’ve all been locked in with each other since early. So it’s important that they’re also part of the journey, whether it’s actually through releasing music or just supporting each other’s releases.
What made you want to get into music and how did you start?
Me getting into music was always going to happen as my mum sings. So, I have always been around it, my mum ended up getting studio equipment for me to use at home when I was 12/13, so I started out making beats but I moved to engineering quickly.
What other releases do you have for the rest of the year?
Everyone keeps buggin’ me about my single ‘Dri Fit’ so I might release that one soon. Regardless you’ll always see me working in the studio though, so I’m always making new music.
What makes you Next Up?
I’m next up because I’m able to do more than guys think so you won’t even see or know what’s coming. Time will tell.
