Spotify Premium and Stormzy celebrated the star’s 25th birthday on
the island of Menorca with #MerkyAirways.

Spotify Premium welcomed Stormzy’s biggest streamers on Spotify Premium to enjoy his birthday with him today. The birthday bash kicked off with a private charter flight to Menorca on #MerkyAirways. His fans then moved on to party with Stormzy himself at a luxury
villa. The trip contained a star-studded guest list including Krept and Konan, Big Shaq, Lethal Bizzle, Not3s, Ms Banks, Ramz, Yungen, AJ Tracey, Jaykae, Avelino, and Stormzy’s girlfriend BBC Radio 1 DJ Maya Jama.
Avelino, Krept and Konan, Not3s and Big Shaq provided special guest performances at the event. Guests were also treated to a performance from the birthday boy himself. Stormzy performed some of his fans’ favourite tracks, including Cold.

Stormzy’s remarkable ascent has been accompanied by his honest, generous and relatable character. Having taken over 200 fans to a theme park in for Stromzy’s birthday in 2016, this year Spotify took it to a whole new level!
Spotify Premium selected the UK’s biggest Stormzy fans to join the daylong experience in Menorca, including a return trip on #MerkyAirways.
Stormzy currently has 3.3m monthly listeners on Spotify.
