UK rap duo Krept & Konan unveiled to us a snippet of what to expect from their highly anticipated mixtape – ‘Young Kingz‘.
Before I actually go on to talk about their new stuff, I just want to take a moment to reflect on the progression these two have had in the last couple years. I remember when I first heard of Krept & Konan, on their first mixtape – ‘Tsunami Wave’. At that point, I couldn’t really remember such a duo in the scene. This mixtape properly created opportunities for them, and then they went to record [probably one of my favourite freestyles to date] this Behind Barz freestyle with LinkUpTV:
When I heard this, It was evident, its time for to take note and listen to what these guys were saying! the deep lyrics and heavy punchlines. With their consistency, they went on to do other notable projects including ‘My Hood‘ ft G FrSh, Otis Freestyle, Paranormal Activity, Go Down South ft Chip and many more.
Their new video, shows real progression, but they’re still sticking to what we grew to like about these two. The only thing changed is the level of professionalism these two fella’s have.
