UK producers are starting new wave in NY?

The award-winning DJ has proved his credibility in music over his decade-long career. However, his statement received mixed responses. Whilst many championed him for giving British producers what they’re due, NY natives grew defensive.
NY’s new wave is undoubtedly a product of U.K. Drill beats. The likes of Pop Smoke, Fivio Foreign, Smoove L and more have crafted their sounds around the British drill influence.
