South London rapper DC has unveiled his new single, ‘Mains’. The track has come complete with a lo-fi music video shot by LX that follows the rapper across south-east London.
DC’s continues to prove that he is one of the top lyricists in this country, courtesy of his laid back flows and cutting lyricism. The rapper was featured on Kwollem’s recent project and has a UK classic to his name in the form of ‘Bobby and Rowdy’ with Knucks.
Speaking on the track, DC states:
“Mains is an honest representation of where my mind is at, at the moment. It’s a mixture of my current thoughts and feelings about my life, things that are going on around me & glimpses of what I think of the future. The songs make me screw up my face in enjoyment. From the hard hitting lyrics to the production, everything meshes well perfectly. The process of making it was longer than I thought it would be, mainly down to me being a perfectionist. But I’ve been working with Emil for a while now and I had faith that we would be able to make the vision I had for the song a reality. And we did just that.”
