Singer/rapper/songwriter CICERO has dropped a video for her new single, ‘Miss Me’, produced and directed by 411 (Crazy Cousinz/J Ramms). Showcasing a floaty production, this track follows on from ‘What Do I Do’ and further emphasises her signature style, effortlessly flowing between Trip-Hop and Alt-R&B. The summer-tinged seductive visuals perfectly compliment CICERO’s hypnotic vocal with the lyrics touching upon self-worth and female empowerment.
CICERO finds herself in the midst of the thriving West London music hub that’s brimming with the next generation of musicians who are coming in and shaking things up for the better. She is a creative spark with a unique sound and a collection of songs that she is set to unleash over the summer. CICERO has lent her skilled pen-ship elsewhere, having written for Funky DL and more recently P-rallel on ‘Creeping’ – a standout song on the bubbling producer’s new project.
Citing the likes of Amy Winehouse, Bree Runway and Summer Walker as her musical influences, CICERO is a proud Londoner with a love for all things noughties and brings a layer of vibrancy combined with the grittiness of the capital to everything she touches. Carving out her own lane, CICERO has been making waves since her debut EP, ‘ULTRAVIOLET’ dropped last year, cutting through the noise with its hybrid blend of Hip-Hop, Garage and Alt-R&B.
