Beyoncé has released a surprise new track called, “Black Parade.”
Tapping herself and longtime collaborator Derek Dixie for production, the songstress tributes her southern heritage while expressing her black pride in this offering. “Black Parade” came a few hours before Juneteenth – a holiday which celebrates the emancipation of enslaved black folks in America – was over, what a fitting way to end the holiday!
To support Black-owned businessed all proceeds from the track will be donated to several different initiatives, including the “Black Parade Route,” which was curated by stylist and founder of Black Owned Everything Zerina Akers.
