With a diverse catalogue and more than 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify, his discography stretches over six years back to 2017; with the ‘Halo’ tour taking place in November, today has seen fast-rising British artist Bakar unveil his highly anticipated second album entitled ‘Halo’.
“Consisting of 11 tracks, Halo explores Bakar’s dichotomy between the nomadic loneliness of a life constantly on the road and the “lifestyle” of being a musician”. Uniquely, the album is predominantly recorded in a variety of AirBnb’s, hotels and homes spanning from London to LA; the brand new project is opened up with ‘One In One Out’ and is introduced by award-winning British rapper and friend, Little Simz. With a brand new remix of ‘Hell N Back’ with Summer Walker making the 11th track of the album, ‘Halo’ unveils a fresh creativity to Baker’s creative output, and documents progression and growth in his work and personal life.
