The Prime Minister, Boris Johnson announced earlier this evening that all schools will be closing this Friday until further notice. The Government also announced that all exams that are due to take place this May and June will also be cancelled.

With the Coronavirus becoming the hot topic of the nation, another serious measurement has been set place in order to help suppress the pandemic.

Gavin Williamson, the Secretary of Education took to the House Of Commons earlier today announcing the news followed by Boris in the daily press conference.

All schools will close except for those looking after the children of key-workers and vulnerable children who are still expected to attend.

All of the students who have been gearing up for there final exams including SATs, GCSEs and A Levels throughout May and June have also been cancelled.

Boris Johnson stated “We will make sure their progress will not be impeded. We will make sure they will in time get the qualifications they need”.
