One of the coldest MC with a sick flow, Double S sits down to Not For The Radio’s Duane Jones aka Vis (Renowned), Posty (GRM Daily) and Chams (Face4Music) to talk everything music, Marvell Breakup and his new project.
Speaking of his time in Marvell with Shocka & Vertex, the North London MC had just good things to say about the crew – ‘Marvel was a blessing, i think it was one of the best moments in my life. What we brought to the Grime scene, even though me being 100% honest i don’t think we get our respect for it -but what we brought to the scene, down to Vertex doing the videos, the choruses, Shocka doing the metaphors, just creating a body of work and having the fan base that we built, going on tour, obviously people were involved but a lot it was independent – i will never change that, i think it was a moment in my life’ – he said.
Crowning himself as the artist with the sickest flow, Double S also shed light on some other artists that he considers ‘dope’ when it comes to the flows – such as Ghetts, Scruffizer, Lady Leshurr, Kano and J2K.
