British songstress and Ivor Novello award nominate, Mahalia has announced a new club night, ‘Mahalia Presents…’ highlighting the best new talents in music.
Showcasing at The Moth Club, fans will be treated to performances from the likes of Ojerime and Madi Saskia. Hailing from South East London, Ojerime’s forward thinking take on 90s nostalgia is unique from her contemporaries. Classic R&B hooks paired with her electronic roots, Ojerime draws you back into the golden age of R&B with a ’22 twist.
Representing the Midlands, Madi Saskia is one of the most exciting talents to emerge on the scene. Inspired by the sounds of Jhené Aiko, Erykah Badu and Marsha Ambrosius, Madi combines socially conscious lyrics with an occasional “floetryesque” tone.
